Many organizations offer special support to seniors and those caring for others.
Any easy way to find resources in your local community is to do a quick internet search for any of these topics below and also include your location in the search bar. If resources are not available in your immediate city or town, look to countywide or statewide programs or organizations.
United Way 211
A searchable database by zip code offering resources nationwide by category (i.e. utilities, housing, legal aid, senior services)

Senior Adult Organizations
Local organizations and senior centers offer classes and events to give seniors opportunities to engage with others, as well as specialized support programs for senior adults, caregiver support and adult day centers.
Local Government Council
Local Area Agency on Aging addresses caregiver services include counseling, support groups, education, training and respite care information, as well as other services for seniors related to transportation, nutrition, etc.
Nutrition Assistance
Providers of mobile meal deliveries to seniors, local food pantries and congregate meal sites for seniors
Elder Care Planning
Consult an elder care attorney for issues with legal and financial aspects of long-term care planning and estate planning
Department of Social Services
